Last week I shared part of postcard from one my favourite cities in the world. Did you recognize it?
This whimsical building is located in Park Güell, in one of the most architecturally stunning cities in the world – Barcelona. When I daydream about where I want to move to, Barcelona comes to mind. Park Güell is one the places that make Barcelona feel magical. The stories of its origins makes it even more interesting. While a beautiful public park today, Park Güell actually started as a housing development with the vision of building a community with all the latest technological comforts. The housing development never came to fruition which may have been a good thing for the rest of us. Instead of becoming privately owned, it is now a public park and garden we can all visit.
