Happy Monday! So do you know where in the world we are? Here’s last week’s postcard fresh from my mailbox:
This week’s postcard is from Zanzibar and if you guessed it, then you have a great eye my fellow traveler! Zanzibar is located off the coast of East Africa in the Indian Ocean. This photo features Stone Town (or Mji Mkongwe in Swahili) which is Zanzibar’s historic centre. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with architecture dating back to the 19th century. What an experience it must be to wander down these narrow stone streets lined with grand wooden doors wondering what might have taken place exactly where you stand 200 hundred years ago.
