It’s summer and I’m really making an effort to enjoy the city and try to share some of my favourite sites with you! The Pan-Am games are in town and along with being able to witness great athletic accomplishments, there’s lots to do as part of the Pan Am festivities.
Fellow blogger at MyTorontoLife recently had a great summary of the events happening at Pan Am – check it out here. However, as many of the big-ticket events are already sold out or will be very crowded, I’d like to suggest an event that still has great seats available.
My suggestion: Check out Ill-Abilities. They are a BBoy dance group with dancers who are what they self-describe as Ill-Abled. When I’m not blogging, I spend my days working with children of all different abilities and this group is a great inspiration. They’re performing their show Limitless as part of Panamania July 17 and 18th, 2015 and I can’t wait to see them. Bonus: they’re performing at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts so you can spend a great evening out at The Distillery District. Come support these inspiring men; hope to see you there!
