Good Monday to you my traveling friends! So did you know where we were for Postcard Monday last week? Here is some information shared with me by the lovely traveler who sent me the postcard: there are giant pretzels at every street corner and the large building pictured is Cloth Hall. Does that help?
This square is actually the main market square in Kraków’s old town. The large building is the Cloth Hall or Sukiennice – dating back to the 15th century, it is now a UNESCO heritage site. While the Cloth Hall used to be a major international trade centre, it now hosts a division of the National Museum. It must have been a pretty happening place in its golden age!
