Hello travelers! So did you figure out where last week’s postcard was from?
You probably recognized this famous fountain – La Fontana di Trevi! Even if you’ve never visited, you’ve probably seen it on film and television. Finished in 1762, it remains one of the most famous fountains in the world. What happens to all the coins tossed in the fountain? A number of people have made a small fortune collecting them but it is now illegal to collect coins from the fountain. About $3,500 USD is collected from the fountain every day and donated to charity. That’s a lot of small change!
